Our Lady of Guadalupe
"Empress of the Americas" and "Patroness of the Unborn"
Feast Day: December 12
Welcome to the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel. Throughout the world candles are lit seeking the intercession of the saints for many reasons. Today, we turn to Our Lady of Guadalupe seeking her intercession for the unborn and for all those intentions you hold in your heart.
While you are here you might take time to pray for others as well. The candles below represent the most recent intentions submitted for prayer. We have included a prayer in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe that may be used, or you may simply pray from you heart. God has given us this beautiful gift of prayer; what better way to say thank you to Him than to offer it back to Him for others.
Dear Lady of Guadalupe, you came to Juan Diego, a pure and poor son of Mexico, in his need at a time when his people were suffering. You are the Patroness of the Unborn, and you draw to yourself all human life, in all its stages. I come to you in my own need. I ask you to hold in the crossing of your arms the people I now entrust to you (offer your intentions), asking that you obtain from our merciful God the graces and protection they seek. Through your intercession, dear Lady of Guadalupe, I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
