Divine Mercy

Feast Day: The first Sunday after Easter

Welcome to the Divine Mercy Chapel. Throughout the world candles are lit seeking the intercession of the saints for many reasons. Today, we turn to Mercy Himself, seeking intercession for the little, the lost, and the least. We gaze, trustingly, upon the two large rays emanating from His breast as we offer Him all of the intentions we hold in our hearts.

While you are here, you might take time to pray for others as well. The candles below represent the most recent intentions submitted for prayer. We have included a prayer in honor of Divine Mercy that may be used, or you may simply pray from your heart. God has given us this beautiful gift of prayer, what better way to say thank you to Him than to offer it back to Him for others?

Jesus, trusting in Thy mercy and love, I come to Thee. Empty handed, but with a heart full of worries, concerns and fears. You once told Saint Faustina, “Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My Mercy.” (Diary 300.) Jesus, I seek that peace that only You can give; not only for myself, but also for (offer your intentions.) I also bring to you the souls in Purgatory, especially those who have no one to pray for them. Through Thy great grace and Mercy I pray, “Jesus, I trust in You!”
