Religious Freedom Week 2025

Dear Friend,

Sunday we celebrate the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Jesus. As we celebrate His Real Presence in the Eucharist, present in all the tabernacles in all the Catholic Churches and Chapels throughout the world, we must also pause to remember His presence in each one of us.

This week is Religious Freedom Week. The United States Council of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has called us to open our hearts to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Religious Freedom is more than just the right to believe what we want to believe, or the right to participate in Religious celebrations. Religious Freedom is also a responsibility that each of us holds.

Looking at our society and all that is happening in our world can be overwhelming. It is easy to feel like nothing you do makes a difference, but with God, all things are possible. Prayer is more powerful than any one person or situation. Each of us is called to be “Witnesses to Hope” and we are asked to “Pray, Reflect, and Act” (USCCB.org).

Pray – Reflect – Act

From June 22nd – June 29th, the USCCB provides daily topics and intentions to pray for. Each day, we will send you the day’s focus, a prayer, and a link to the reflection they’ve shared.

We encourage you to take time each day to truly pray, reflect, and act according to God’s will for you.

Thank you for choosing to see Christ in others and for praying for them. Because of your faith and compassion, lives will be transformed.

God bless you, dear friend.

With much prayer and gratitude,
