Giving Tuesday

Will You Help Keep our Sisters Warm?

Our own home has been missing something essential.

One of our two boilers suffered a major breakdown that cannot be repaired. After decades of faithful, hidden service, it has simply reached the end of its life. And now the remaining boiler, responsible for warming our bedrooms and the Novitiate where our young Sisters pray and study, is struggling to carry the burden alone.

Every household knows these moments, when something breaks, and suddenly comfort depends on the support of others. Mary, our Mother, knew these moments too. In every uncertainty she faced, she relied on the promise and fulfillment of her Son, noticing the needs around her, even the quiet, hidden ones, and responded with love and trust in God’s providence.

This Giving Tuesday, we are inviting you into that same spirit.
Not out of urgency alone, but out of hope.
Not out of fear, but out of faith.
And not out of obligation, but out of a shared desire to keep this house of prayer, service, and formation warm for the Sisters who call it home.

If you feel called to help us replace the failed boiler before winter settles in, your generosity will bring warmth back to the spaces where we rest, pray, and prepare each day to serve others.

Each evening, as the bell rings calling us to Chapel, we enter one of the most peaceful moments of our day. Evening prayer draws us together — Sisters of every age lifting our hearts to God, entrusting the joys and burdens of this day to His care, including our broken boiler.

The areas affected are where our novices whisper their prayers…

where an elderly Sister places her rosary on her bedside table…

where tomorrow’s acts of service begin taking shape in quiet reflection.

Your generosity becomes part of the peace and protection our Sisters feel when they return to their rooms each night — part of the warmth that helps their hearts to remain focused on God’s work.

You make the difference.  Be assured of our prayers for you — for your intentions, your loved ones, and your own place of rest.

May Mary, our Mother, watch over you always. God bless you!

“With Mary, our lives continually proclaim the greatness of the Lord and the joy experienced in rendering service to Him.”
