Welcome to the Saint Maximilian Kolbe Chapel. Throughout the world candles are lit seeking the intercession of the saints for many reasons. Today, we turn to Saint Maximilian Kolbe seeking his intercession for the addicted and for all those intentions you hold in your heart.

While you are here you might take time to pray for others as well. The candles below represent the most recent intentions submitted for prayer. We have included a prayer in honor of Saint Maximilian Kolbe that may be used, or you may simply pray from you heart. God has given us this beautiful gift of prayer; what better way to say thank you to Him than to offer it back to Him for others.

Dear St. Maximilian Kolbe, patron saint of those who suffer with addictions, you gave your life for another in the midst of great suffering. Please grant your saving help to those who are unable to look beyond themselves to see that they are loved by God even in their affliction. Ask that He will come to their aid as thy seek to end the cycle of addiction that imprisons them against their will. Through your intercession, dear St. Maximilian, I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Amen.
